Suzuki-sensei, I don't know who taught you about English naming conventions, but I want to bash them over the head. Repeatedly. I've dealt with your bullshit before, but this is ridiculousSomeone else mess with it. I can't make any more sense of them ( Read more... )

Could Dolfy be a pet name of Rudolf or (oh please no) Adolph? Snandey and Neuce I have absolutely nothing on. I just... what?

They just make up names. I swear to god, they just put random strings of katakana together thinking it sounds foreign whether or not it makes any amount of sense.

Yeah, running down that list... Gyle? Mauro? Keelay? Ahya? Sisty? I don't live that far from Santa Monica (p.s. what's with the sudden fascination in Zuka with Southern and Central California? Emperor and Journalist, PW2, Paradise Prince... now this one...) but I can't think of anyone with names like that. They're close to actual names (mostly) but far enough off to be totally wrong. *facepalm*

::edit:: I also find it interesting/disturbing that after Ai no Prelude, 1/3 of the otokoyaku in New Generation will have retired.

Mauro, at least, is a genuine Italian name. The rest are pretty much bogus, yeah. :\

SOOO TRUE XD;;;;; I especially see those in Egyptian or Korean setting-musicals and I always have a great LOL about them. I suppose it is a pain to translate all that though :/ I'm amazed at how you've managed to make them sound "make-sense" though! <3

But . . . Kiriyan is HOLLY? *headdesk*
