I'm exhausted and drained.
Gypsy Baron was great fun. Lots of silliness and gaudy costumes and pig sound effects, but also good singing and
this amazing pair dance -- if there's one thing I like about Kiriyan x Marimo it's how they tell a story with their dancing.
Karan-chan and Mayu-pon fought over Akane-chan. I pretty much died.
Rhapsodic Moon was... a Nakamura-sensei revue. Man, I've seen some cookie-cutter revues in my day but this one was pretty bad in the reused scenes / costumes categories. It's not that it wasn't enjoyable, it's just that I felt like I'd seen it all before. Manda was like "we did this five years ago; it was called Revue of Dreams."
That being said.
It was one of the specialest kangekis ever
because Magee-kai put us in the 4th row all the way to the right
and a certain girl found me
and flirted for a good part of the chuuzume in the sweetest and most friendly way, and waggled her fingers at me when she went offstage, and made eyes at me a couple of times in the tuxedo dance even though she was trying to act cool, and then briefly in the finale as well.
I'm trying to decide if I should be secretive and give her a nickname or not. Some of you already know... because I arranged a meet-up with her. The first time we met coincidentally in a completely non-iride-like setting, and then after taidan I thought "what have I got to lose" and wrote her a letter which she responded to almost immediately, and I met up with her last month on the 21st. I'm going to see her again on Monday.
Okay, I guess I am being secretive. Her nickname is Shin.
Oh but it was hilarious because Rizu also found me in the chuuzume, she was on the ginkyou really close to where we were sitting and her eyes went "Oh! I know you! You came to my ochakai! Hey!" asdfjkl Rizu-chiiiinnnnnn X3
Then after all of that there was saying goodbye to T&M and K-san and N-san and a bunch of other people. They came to my little farewell party which was more like "regular times listening to K run her mouth non-stop", which was for the best I think. It was fun.
Except for the part where C, the girl who's Karan-chan's friend, gave me a letter saying she was glad that fate had allowed us to meet... and how she told Karan-chan I was leaving Japan but she already knew because she reads my letters. Apparently Karan-chan gave C a message, to tell me "I'll be waiting in Takarazuka when you come back."
Then I cried on the train home like a stupid thing.
