I woke up wishing I could remember more details, but this is actually a lot @__@

I watched Haya-chan's Cafe Break this morning, then went back to sleep and dreamed about...

...Everyone and everything except Haya-chan. ^^;;;

Manda, Tegan and I were at shonichi for Last Play.

And apparently my brain's way of dealing with the mostly-unknown entity that is Last Play is to imbue it with a completely different story. >.>;;

For one thing, it had become a two-act musical because there was a play-within-the-play that would take up a significant part of the action. This play-within-the-play involved, er, Tom? I guess (god knows why) my mind was trying to combine Tsukigumi and Hoshigumi, because Tom was wearing that red Tyrian-meets-Count-Luna outfit and there was a green wood and everything.

Although maybe my subconscious was trying to throw Taiou in there too after all, because Tom possibly represented Asako in a previous life and what Tom did would be a mirror to Asako's actions in the present... And there were some great overdramatic special effects -- thematic elements of Taiou, you see. ;) Re: special effects, I noticed that the stage had been modified to cover up and possibly go past the ginkyou -- the front had a jagged pattern like craggy rocks or broken ice (I recall a cool "ice" effect at some point).

Even moreso than usual, the whole thing flowed in a very dreamlike manner where you're not sure what happened at what time. Other things I'm positive about are: 1) Doi-chan also made a special appearance to do a dance solo that apparently no one else could do. ;D 2) Asako and Kiriyan got lots of stage time, but Ahi didn't show up until almost the end of the first act (where she did do something very cool and villainous, but jeez, why is even my subconscious so mean? >__<) 3) Masaki, Mirio and someone else were in drag at some point... but the third person wasn't another M -- it was someone younger, so I'm going to say Toshi. X3

At some point there was an act break and me, Manda, Tegan wandered around the theater -- there seemed to be more staircases, passageways and lobbies than usual. Coming out of one such passageway we passed... basically all of the upperclassmen in Soragumi, I think, heading our direction to go back to rehearsals. I remember ducking and scooting out of Ecchan's way. And we goggled as they went by, and I noticed that they all had funny tattoos circling their necks or arms -- simple but elegant-looking bands of some foreign script.

When they were out of earshot and we were heading back to our seats, I squealed to the others that the rumors about Soragumi doing a Lord of the Rings musical must be true. Tegan whined at me that she wouldn't be able to see it because the last Soragumi Grand Theater show she'll see is Casablanca. T_____T;;;

And this is where time gets weird... Part of me wants to say it was first act, but part of me wants to say this was during the second act... I was falling asleep and cursing myself for being so tired; it was probably my own fault for staying up late. I was seriously nodding off, and somehow in my drowsy state I got into a really weird position in my seat to where I was looking behind me...

And saw that Tomu was back there laughing at me, with Alice-chan sitting beside her. Suddenly Soragumi was right behind us doing a huge "kumisouken". I was mortified.

There was something else about there being so few people at shonichi (like, even some first floor S-seki were empty) that at intermission the staff encouraged us to move up to get better seats. (This is why I'm confused about when Soragumi was sitting behind us. Also, why do so many Zuka dreams involve changing seats?) Also some fuss about programs being left under seats, and something else of mine sliding down under the chairs several rows in front of me (was it my bike lock?!)

I feel like there was a lot more, although this in itself is quite a lot of random bizarre-ness...

But then there was the OTHER part of the dream where I realized it had all been a dream and we were walking down the sidewalk when we ran into Koike-sensei and I stopped and told him all about it, and he laughed, especially at the part about otokoyaku in drag. ^^;;;;

I think the MOST crazy thing is that at least a few of these elements I can identify where in my waking life they came from...

ranju tomu, last play, ryouga haruhi, sena jun, uzuki hayate, kiriya hiromu, ryuu masaki, oomi ako, asumi rio, hanakage arisu, tsurumi mayuu, todoroki yuu
