They sure haven't been lax on Mirio in that regard. :\

They really haven't! But they have in some instances with other people so I kind of wonder if it might have to do with how well different people deal with the pressure of the shinko lead. Dai-chan, for all her massive dorkiness, is such a little perfectionist and she looks up to Tom and Tani both SO much that I can totally imagine her being like "omg no let me stand in the background with a pitchfork!/let me Tani's semi-visible dead father!" when it came down to it. But again, conjecture I have no way to confirm/deny.

You and me both hon, you and me BOTH. Recent history makes it harder to cling quite as hard as I used to, but hope springs eternal. And being a good cultist is about nothing more than clinging to constant hope.

Bow show next year. I will voice various theories but shouldn't get my heart set on anything...

I've started to take the angle that I will refuse to expect anything to go the way I would ultimately want, and then if it does I can be extra happy.

(Re: Makkun, I love her in a "guilty pleasure" kind of way for her absurdity, not her talent. ^^;;; The same could be said of Beni, another high-profile 88th?)

I love Beni to massive levels because she is so inherently hysterical but I think she's actually rather talented as well. Honestly when you think about it, all the 88ths who are star track are kind of insanely funny one way or another, between the Soras and Beni and Seshi and Makkun. They all kind of just make me giggle.

Setting all the Sora 88th theorizing aside, I'll just say:

Seshi! (I knew there were more I could have mentioned.) Now Seshi, though she may be dorky offstage... Onstage for me she's just hot, hot, HOT. Tiny little thing with a massive amount of charisma. ♥

Seshi has a really fabulous balance of massive dork and incredibly hot and has a very fun stage presence. She's SO Yukigumi too, which is a blessing I think because it means she's probably better set to be promoted than a lot of people.

And I should have said about Beni -- well on her path of trying to become Kaname, I can't take any of her talent seriously anymore. XDDD;;;; ♥ ♥ ♥
