Phoenix 2.
I don't have time to talk about it. It's hard to talk about it.
I don't want to break down the good and bad points without telling the full story, because then it might not come off right.
But I'll say this. I was devastated by the first act. It ruined the memory of some very precious people to me. And the story used, I feel, rather cheap plot devices.
I guess it turned out acceptable in the end. Still, to me the highlights were Eri-chan with a whip and Kai-chan who is, in fact, the real killer. Sweet little Kai-chan who really had good intentions if only Kozue hadn't driven Kai-chan's father to suicide T____T;; Awesome, awesome Kai-chan who emoted so well and spat out her lines like machine gun fire -- when Tomu fumbled a tiny bit once or twice. ;)
And Mii-chan, who leads a SONG! About INVESTIGATION! And Tomochin was good, she got to be a more "reformed" Edgeworth, although I still don't feel she OWNED it like Eriko.
Tomu was Tomu aka close to godly. X3 Seiko was a typical musumeyaku heroine aka didn't get much personality to work with. :/
...Kai-chan ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I'll see it again for Kai-chan and Eri-chan (oh and Koumai & goons, yes ♥) and the songs and dances and the finale--
--and there were no dogs, by the way. ^^;;;
