passing on a meme
This is a meme I got from my friend tonihime, posted in my regular journal and figured would be fun to do here too. :-)
Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. etc.
After that, the idea is basically just "comment on the hypothetical pairings". To give myself more options, I also listed names of 'siennes featured as themselves in my icons, in addition to the characters.
Christine (Phantom) x Cosmo Brown (Singin' in the Rain)
Hmm, I dunno, maybe this could happen. Given the right circumstances. Or in Bizarro World. ;-)
Death (Elisabeth) x Don Lockwood (Singin' in the Rain)
Hahaha, I got this on my other journal too. And... yeah. I don't see it happening. :-P
Elisabeth (Elisabeth) x Erik (Phantom)
It's like wife-swapping between shows!! XDDD I suppose if Elisabeth had a lovely singing voice, as the 'siennes who play her do, then Erik might well fall for her. :-)
Gerard Carriere (Phantom) x Hans Axel von Fersen (Rose of Versailles)
*snerk* ... *snicker* ... In a crazy way, I like this pairing. XDD;;; I don't even know why, but I do. Hahaha.
Hanafusa Mari x Hanakage Arisu
Mmmm, musumeyaku slash. That's all I'm going to say about that. :3
Leonora (A Kiss to the Flames) x Lina Lamont (Singin' in the Rain)
Setting aside the gross difference in time periods... I really doubt Lina would go for a woman, plus Leonora would outshine Lina's fake elegance. ;-) Hehehe.
Manrico (A Kiss to the Flames) x Marie-Antoinette (Rose of Versailles)
Again with the wife-swapping, hahaha!! Manrico would totally ride in and save the day just like Fersen, so this might actually work. :-D
Meg Giry (Phantom) x Wao Youka
Eep. Pairing Wao and my baby... feels rather wrong. T__T;; No, scratch that, it seems very very wrong. Wao needs to stay with Hana, and Meg!Arisu still has some years to find the right otokoyaku boy for her. :-P
I'm sure this would have been more fun if I didn't have sort of a one-track mind with my 'Zuka icons. :-P I should get more icon space and branch out a little. Anyway, if this meme catches on, I'm sure other people will have even more amusing answers. :-D
