Ume-chan Ochakai -- you guessed it -- Not-Report!
Lucia asked for an explanation of how I came to be going to Ume-chan's ochakai in this not-report.
The answer, naturally, is "Cate's connections". Cate = Haya club, Haya = Hoshi 86th; Ume-chan = 86th formerly of Hoshigumi. There you go. ;)
Hoshigumi fans adore Ume-chan, by the way. They're STILL convinced that Ume-chan's not going to retire, or even go to Tokyo, but instead magically appear in Taiou taking Nene's her rightful place beside Chie.

Hoshi fans are also the reason we had an amazing encounter post-ochakai, but that story will be saved for the full report.
The short report is: Ume-chan. Hair. Ume-chan. Thighs. Boots.
Ume-chan is so quirky and love and sweetness and so so so kind and humble and...
...And pretty much over being in Takarazuka. Not a tear. Not a word of regret about leaving. Hardly a word about retirement in general.
She still wants to support Takarazuka though, so please say hello to her if you see her in the audience after July 5th, and she had a nice talk with Nono Sumika today (yesterday?) so please support Soragumi too.
Oh, I was going to end it there but there is one other big thing. STAY GOLD. Not a music salon, she says. More like a revue. Actually, more than a revue, a "revenge performance" as she, Masami and Eriko reprise roles they wish they could do over. Characters who should have absolutely no relation to each other will be appearing onstage together in what sounds to be epically awesome fun times.
