Nishiki-e / Zorro Not-Report
Not really in any order...
Kimu. Kimu Kimu Kimu. Kimu and legs and smile and singing and then not speaking at all and thanks everybody for not telling me about the ending. :X
And her dance with Mika. And her dance with Tonami and the LOOK she gave her, and oh I wanted to cry.
Kari-chan. Kari-chan in a bald cap. Kari-chan in black. Kari-chan in a soldier uniform HAVING HER GUN APPROPRIATED BY KITAROU. YES THAT WAS KARI-CHAN'S GUN.
And Kari-chan in a mustache as a prisoner all happy to be liberated. I recognized her even in a mustache.
OH and Kari-chan in a cowgirl rockette costume. :D
Kitarou being tall and thick-headed. X3 Yumiko being way too cute to convince me that she's actually evil.
Seshi playing in the mariachi band. Also, yes, Maya-san stealing maracas.
Somewhere in there may also have been Tonami waving swords about but also wearing great poofy dresses, Mizu being generally sexy but occasionally foppish, and Mika being LOVE and translating for Kimu.
KIMU.
Gaori, Kingu and Ayucchi continue to pop up on my radar. Ayakaze Sakina (Baby Mexican) and Ayanagi Shou (Baby Soldier) also kept catching my eye.
Along with KARI-CHAN.
Switching gears, Nishiki-e. The theme of Nishiki-e is "NOT ENOUGH".
-Not enough TIME
-Not enough BUYO
-Not enough MIEKO-SAMA
...etc. Although what Mieko-sama there was, was fabulous. Her hands. Her feet. The way she turned her head. And her hands. And her FEET!
Oh, did I mention the Kimu legs? There were also possibly Mizu / Yumiko / Hiromi / Kaname legs, but I only remember KIMU LEGS.
And Tonami with Mizu on a rope.
And okay, I can almost deal with a line dance in bald caps, but the CAT GIRLS?! You have some explaining to do, Ishida-sensei. (Even if the cat girls were the very cute Kaori, Nacchan, Mika-chan and Mimi.)
Oh, but I liked the Team Tom vs. Team Mizu battle, with the fans. Very stylish.
There was a video screen somewhere in Nishiki-e that was awesome, and then a video in Zorro that was very cheesy. X3
I kind of want to go again, but my bank account is saying I can't. :(
*edits* I was thinking a lot about Chigi during the performance, and whose role she would take, and I realized that I'd actually rather see Kitarou promoted to Kaname's role, so Chigi could be Sergeant Dumb. XD XD XD
