Julie's tradition of dreaming about who/whatever was on Cafe Break continues.
And this morning was MATTSU'S Cafe Break. :D :D :D
But before Cafe Break there's always this Christian TV show on that I watch the last couple minutes of in order to be ready to tape CB.
So that must be why part of my dream took place at a relative's house where old-timers were discussing my former religion. (Not me specifically, but the religion in general.) I guess the church was taking a new direction and reinventing the story of the "resurrected gospel" as a sort of science fiction novel. And, I don't know, it was all confused and mixed together. Either I was in question of being the main character of this novel -- or I was a reincarnation of someone in Taiou Shijinki.
Sometime before this I was actually at the show, but despite the fact that it's not a top star retirement performance there was some kind of extra revue afterward while the taidansha were getting ready. (I think my mind was blending Taiou and Orleans.) Except it was a really fancy revue with sets from Taiou or something.
And despite all this awesome extra goodness and the fact that I was sitting in the first row, I found myself peering into the wings trying to get a sense for what it was like back there. Mostly what I saw was a lot of white space and unrealistically empty tables. Disappointment. :( I had expected to see costumes and props and people rushing about!
Anyway, what brought me back to the show was babies going into the audience with flyers (haha, I really WAS confusing Hoshigumi with Hanagumi XDD). I had my sights set on Himeka, who was looking so much like Alice-chan it was ridiculous. Fortunately she didn't go very far up the aisle, because she saw me and I waved to her and she gave me a flyer. Only it wasn't a flyer, but more like a laminated sheet that was the width of a still photo but twice as long.
With a picture of Mattsu on it. X3
So that was the show, and AFTER that was the stuff about my relatives. We were waiting for dinner to be ready, and I was sick of the religious talk so I decided to go for a stroll. I was in the town one of my grandmothers lives in. (I know that's not a point of interest to anyone but me.) I was just minding my own business when someone parked on the corner I had just turned and called out to me. "Miss, please come with me," the person said.
And ordinarily when a stranger on the street says that to you, you run away really fast -- but not when that person is Mattsu. ^________^
Since this was a bizarre mix of real-person fantasy and Taiou-character fantasy, I somehow knew that Mattsu wanted to talk to me because people thought I was the second coming of whoever.
So anyway, when I heard someone say "please come with me" and then saw who it was, I just said "oh, it's you!" and bounded on over. And took both of her hands in my hands and said "Nice to meet you, my name's Julie!!" all excited. And she laughed, and showed me to the car. It was a white, compact jeep kind of car that was high off the ground and only had two seats. So I pulled myself in and she sat down in the driver's seat, which was on the right like a Japanese car. Since I was so compliant it seemed like she knew I knew why she wanted to talk to me. So instead of discussing that, as we headed off she made small talk. She asked if I could read a lot of kanji, which is one of those annoying questions Japanese people always ask me -- but Mattsu had said in her Cafe Break that the Taiou script had some obscure kanji even she didn't know, so I'll assume that's why it came up. Then she was all "So, about dinner... I know a good place..." And I was thinking to myself "hmm, well I was supposed to have dinner with my relatives, but I'M IN A CAR WITH MATTSU..."
...AND THEN JEN WOKE ME UP.

Jen, I know you were just emailing me to ask about the plan for today, and I should've told you last night...
BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE, I WAS GOING OUT FOR DINNER WITH MATTSU. T____________________T
