Actually, I wasn't ready at all.

I was going to try to properly translate parts of Ume-chan's retirement press conference, but I'm feeling sniffly and really tired now.

Basically she said ever since she was given the top position the thought of when to retire has always been on her mind, but she decided for certain during the Tokyo run of Paradise Prince. (Jeez. Kind of makes me think of how Mihoko made her decision during A-rex.)

She says that entering Takarazuka was her dream, and after making that dream a reality she found it wasn't all fun; some of it was very trying. Despite that, the support of her fans is what gave her the courage to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

;_____________;

It just tears me up to think that she wasn't happy. I just thought... Everything I heard and read about Ume-chan while she was out with her injury was that she was dying to be onstage again. She cried on ParaPuri shonichi...

Oh god, this is bad. I really need to sleep this off. Don't expect me to be available tomorrow morning.

ayano kanami, retirement, paradise prince, hizuki hana
