Until about... the 22nd? I hadn't given any thought to new tops at all. I still don't really like thinking about it. Partly, I suspect, because I don't know who I want. I don't want Chie to be top yet, but I don't want her to transfer, and I'm pretty sure I can't get both of those wishes. I don't particularly want Yumiko, because she, I don't know, doesn't feel Hoshigumi to me. I wouldn't mind Yuuhi, I suppose, but it seems ridiculous to just get her settled in Hanagumi and then pull her back out again. Basically, I want Touko. Ha.

I want Chie and Ume to be together again someday, but even I struggle to come up with a realistic scenario for it, outside of a TCA Special or something. If Chie stayed nibante until Tani retired and then Ume-chan came back to her, I would sing daily praises to the Hankyu Gods all the live long day, but I don't think it's going to happen.
