...I lied. I looked at my notes again and realized that there were more things I could say about Gin-chan that I really didn't want to miss. I wanted to give some shout-outs to the other people in Hanagumi, you know?

I love Marin-san; she played the movie director. And she also played the mayor of Mitsuru's hometown in Kyuushuu, so when Mitsuru and Sumika go back to Mitsuru's hometown they get to kind of give a speech in front of everybody, and the mayor comes out first and introduces them. And Marin-san is this old, old as anything, hunchbacked, stooped-over guy the mayor, can't even remember the names of the people she's introducing and stuff... It was really, really funny. And yeah, just general love for Marin-san. <3

And I just wanted to say, Shiratori Kasuga. I feel bad for her; she's retiring, and it's kind of like when Gou retired, it's just not a good role for her to go out on. She doesn't really stand out at all other than being that cute guy with the hat who's hanging around Marin-san, because I think Marin-san's the director and Shiratori's the assistant director?

Who else? Himeka. Tsukino Himeka had this really bizarre little role as... I want to say possibly Mitsuru's younger sister? She wore this huuuge yellow fluffy dress and pigtails, and the pigtails had big yellow flowers on them, and she had makeup circles, like, circles of rouge on her cheeks and stuff. Completely overdone, completely over the top... completely random character. Like, there was no point to her character, she was just there and she got some lines. But good for her, you know, good for her getting some lines.

I'm gonna try to look back in my notes that I took and remember anything else that was funny... Oh, modern-day jokes. At the very very beginning Mayuzuki Kou and Hatsuhime Saaya -- they're agents, related to perhaps advertising / promotion of the movie in some way -- they're talking about new movies that are coming out or whatever, and one of the movies is... It's not デスノート, "Death Note", it's デブノート, so when you get your names written down in the Debu-Note you don't die, you get fat. "Debu-Nooto"; it was a good joke.

Let's see... the star boots. In that scene where Yuuhi has the fly swatter and is messing around at Mitsuru's house, Sumika's there and Yuuhi's like "Show Sumika some of the clothes that I gave you. I wear these clothes but I get tired of them after a while so I give them to Mitsuru." And Mitsuru shows off the ugly jacket that Yuuhi gave her, and she's like "The boots, the boots too!" And they're these gold boots, the kind of boots that go above the knee, and I think they have stars on them, perhaps? But Yuuhi says something to the effect of "These are STAR boots, only STARS can wear them." And it's really, really funny because Mitsuru's kind of in her home clothes, in her pajamas, and it's like this ugly turquoise track suit kind of thing and bright pink socks... And on top of that she puts on these gold star boots and this ugly jacket, and the whole thing looks just godawful, absolutely ugly ugly. X3

There's this scene where Yuuhi and co. are in some kind of bar and I think it was Saaya and Mayuzuki Kou maybe, were doing karaoke? But they were doing like, bad karaoke. And it was just random and funny.

Um, let's see, who else... I'm looking over my notes... Oh! There's at least one point where they're rehearsing the Shinsengumi movie where there are, like, four or five otokoyaku with bare legs. They're wearing yukata or whatever, some kind of light Japanese garb, but they're fighting, so they're trying to pull their robes up so that they can run faster. And I was just staring at bare otokoyaku legs, and it was like... Yuuhi legs, and Daimon legs and Mame-kun legs... *____* I was quite fascinated. And it's perhaps a little embarrassing to admit that I like staring at otokoyaku legs so much, but there you go.

I was looking back over my notes about demachi and I thought I would at least mention that (like the wear for AmeUta) all the clubs have the same wear for this show, and it's all leopard-print -- no, not leopard-print, zebra-print scarves... It's not exactly zebra-print. I looked at it closely, you know, as close as I could be to the club people without, like, staring at them strangely... It's gray and black stripes, but they're not straight horizontal stripes, they're kind of uneven. So it's not exactly like pointed zebra stripes, but it's kind of midway in-between. I thought it was kind of funny, anyway.

As I said, Daimon had two or three fans... and then somebody else, maybe it was Yuugiri Rai... You know, on second thought, it could have been Mayuzuki Kou, and the reason I didn't think it was Mayuzuki Kou was because she's senior to everyone else, so her fans should have been at the front of the line. But the people who were at the front of the line were Meo's fan club. So either there was some kind of uneven ranking going on, where Meo's fanclub got to stand ahead of Tomoyo's club anyway, or it wasn't Tomoyo. But it was hard to see cause it had gotten dark. But anyway, whether it was Tomoyo or Yuugiri Rai, that person had two or three fans too. And then Meo had eight fans...

They just did things a little differently than the way we did them for AmeUta; it was interesting to watch. Like, they would take their letters and then the fans got to walk with them a tiny way and then they would talk with their fans for a second and then, you know, part ways...

Mitsuru. Mitsuru had five or six fans... And glasses... and boots... And I love her...

And Yuuhi. Yuuhi came out a lot later than everybody else, but she was wearing glasses too, and boots, and a white button-up shirt under a black sweatshirt and a tie; she looked very boyish.

And here I have again rambled on for nine minutes! This seriously is the last post about Gin-chan no Koi.
