The start of the semester is coming up quickly. I have no idea what happened to the summer. I think I've gotten all my travelling out of my system until school lets out for Christmas. I hope so, at least. I have a feeling I'll be inclined to run off to Marseilles as soon as winter hits...

In other news, I've gotten quite a few stock potions done, ( Read more... )

I look forward to your classes, Professor Bonnefoy. Let us hope that the harsh Scottish winter does not force you overseas - it would be difficult to teach us poor students all the way over in Marseilles, non?

Oui, it would be quite unfortunate, especially since I wouldn't be able to rescue all of my students and take them with me. ...I jest, of course. I imagine that would be illegal during the school year.

I hope you end up enjoying my classes in the future as much as you are looking forward to them now, Miss Rose.

Alas, a whirlwind study-holiday is not to be.

I'm sure I'll make the most of them, sir. Please be merciful when it comes to homework and remember my early eagerness to please.

It's a shame, really. I could find a way to make it somewhat educational.

Of course, don't worry. Most of the lessons I teach will only be able to be conducted in class. For the most part, there will be outside reading, but that is not too difficult, non?

Outside reading is never a problem, sir.

I think we will get along very well this year - most especially if you find a way to have us out of the country for a term during the winter, though I realise this may be wishful thinking.

I believe we'll be problem-free, in that case.

If anything, I could at least try to take some students for a purely educational tour once the semester lets out for the holidays... We'll see.

A purely educational trip to the south of France sounds delightful, Professor.

I'd much prefer the life of an expatriate than a homebody.

Oh yes, it would be absolutely wonderful.

In that case, I might have no choice but to make this trip happen.
