(no subject)
Well IN THEORY, my laptop is fixed, as I reinstalled Windows last week. Only it was a bogstandard download installer than Male BFF helped me with, rather than the actual stuff for my laptop, so software is missing and things are still generally being a bit odd.
(Guys, don't buy Samsung laptops! They (or at least this kind) don't have reinstallation discs. You have to make a back-up yourself with the special ~recovery program~ and then you can revert to the back-up if something goes wrong, which sounds fine in theory but then IF SOMETHING ELSE GOES WRONG WITH THAT BACK-UP MID-REVERSION YOU ARE SCREWED.)
Hopefully Windows will keep slowly updating itself and things'll sort itself out. But I swear if anything goes drastically wrong again I am just going to throw the towel in and buy a new laptop.
Or... send it to be repaired... I guess...

Anyway, I still kind of hate tumblr. It's a hostage situation. I'm developing Stockholm syndrome. I keep telling myself I need to update LJ more but there is never anything good to say.
So uhhm. WHAT IF STEVE ROGERS WORKS IN AN RARE BOOKSHOP AND TONY STARK HAS REINVENTED STARK PUBLISHING INDUSTRIES (after a near-death experience with a... really sharp book...) AND REVOLUTIONISED THE E-READING INDUSTRY. SHIELD IS A BOOKSHOP TRYING TO BRING TOGETHER THE WORLD OF RARE BOOKS AND THE WORLD OF EBOOKS OR SOMETHING. CLINT AND NATASHA WORK WITH TERRIFYING COMPETENCY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND THOR IS ON THE HISTORY FLOOR. AND BRUCE IS, IDK, ACADEMIC TEXTBOOKS. AND FURY IS THE SCARIEST FLOOR MANAGER EVER.
