THAT'S your grand master plan to fix an overarching character plot that was established right at the start of the season? JUST PICK IT UP AND SHOVE IT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HEAD???
it doesn't even make sense. Does this mean that it actually was some kind of infectious Luciferian cage virus thing rather than just Sam's trauma playing itself out in hallucinations and whatnot? or is Castiel's brain reinterpreting said Sam-trauma into a Castiel flavoured 'hello brother' kind of thing? WHAT??
AND DOES THIS MEAN SAM WILL NOW HAVE FORGOTTEN LIKE, THE PAST TWO YEARS? OR WILL HE HAVE A BIG BLANK STRANGE HOLE IN HIM WHERE ALL HIS CRAZY FEELINGS ARE MEANT TO BE? OR WHAT?
WILL THERE NOT EVEN BE ANY LINGERING SIDE-EFFECTS
OH COME ON YOU BASTARDS DON'T GIVE ME CRAZY SAM AND THEN TAKE IT AWAY AGAIN IN SUCH A STUPID AND TOTAL FASHION
ugh my god. this show! this show!!!! Whatever, I generally took the Castiel screentime as a chance to file my nails, so the parts of this episode I paid full attention to were like porn for me. Sam being massive and bearded and distressed. Dean worrying over massive, bearded, distressed Sam! A little ghost subplot that was briefly a bit creepy and I really liked that girl (what was her name? Merin? Whatever she's called she is now joining my Everyone The Winchesters Touch Become Hunters personal canon. She can go join Bloody Mary girl and Asylum girl and it'll be awesome.) Also, decent music! Not once did I hear that dreadful comedy guitar. You know what I mean.
And, and, and DEMONS. DEMONS. OH MY BLACK-EYED DARLINGS. I miss demons. Was this a new actress playing Meg or the same one styled slightly differently? She had a really attractive voice, whoever she was. The dialogue was pretty OTT in it's "trying to sound like Meg"-ness but she mostly pulled it off. She could read me sarcastic bedtime stories.
I am still so utterly violent apathetic about the ~Leviathan~, so having a bit of demon back in my life was just lovely.
(Oh gosh, remember that time when I was first bitching about this show's Leviathan life choices and some total randomer came in and left me a comment scolding me for, idek, not handwaving the lack of sea monsters away. That was weird. If you are still reading, randomer, I still hate everything these Leviathan have chosen to be!)
and WHY WAS DEAN TRYING SO HARD TO DEFEND CAS? No. Stop that. Not after what he did to your bro. and also everything else he did! I seem to vaguely recall there were massacres back at the start of the season! (God, now I'm just remembering 7x01. Whyyyy didn't this season have Cas being the Crazy Godlike Big Bad? Whyyyyy didn't it stick with the season 6 finale set-up? You still could have given him cop-out amnesia later! And then demons could have been doing something nefarious instead of these stupid stupid Leaviathan! WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN.)
Okay, maybe Dean was just reassuring Cas so that he would hurry the fuck up and go save Sam from his brain. There we go. It was all just lies and Sam-centric trickery.
Anyway, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester, Sam Winchester.
Dean can come too.
