I DREAMT I WAS ENGAGED TO BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. Sob. Everything was really ordinary (for a dream) and then Cumbles appeared and my dream shouted BY THE WAY YOU AND HE ARE VERY MUCH IN LOVE!! I was all 'gosh, are you sure? does he know?' so I cunningly brought it up with him and he confirmed that yes, yes we were very much in love.
Then he took me to the BAFTAs and I accidentally sat on an award that someone had left on my seat and I had to sneak up to the stage in the middle of the show to pass it up to Stephen Fry (who was presumably handling lost property as well as presenting.)
AND THEN I WOKE UP, CRUELLY ;_;

Anyway, that dramatic love story aside, does anyone know of any good books on novel-writing? I'm looking for practical nuts and structural bolts rather than one of those chummy, yay writing is fun sorts.
