HELLO I'M BACK. My life conspired to cram everything exciting into one week. I had my results, then my parents came down to Fal, then it was my birthday, then packing everything up and scrubbing the hell out of my flat to come back home. Apparently my family are incapable of coordinating themselves together, so since getting back on Friday I've spent my days unpacking and my evenings catching up with whatever relative has popped by for congratulations and presents.
I mean, not that I'm complaining. Congratulations and presents, hooray. Still, tomorrow is my first day since my last post that I'm not officially Doing Something. The plan is write, read, unpack, but I'll probably end up watching five hours of Come Dine With Me or something.
It's good to be back home - I never really got properly settled back in at uni after Easter, what with my nan dying so early into the term - but god am I missing the scenery. So here are
some pictures from my birthday.
Cream tea at a 15th century cottage that was practically in the river Fal.
Then we took the water bus to St Mawes.
ST MAWES IS VERY PRETTY. Also there's a castle but for some reason I didn't take any photos of it.
Falmouth across the water from said castle.
Delicious honeycomb birthday ice cream.
Fal harbour, fish and chips.
