Aw man, dreamt I watched 6x01 last night and it was just Sam Is Kinda Crazy And Does Things With His Brain. He could see ghosts - which doesn't make much sense in the Supernatural 'verse, but in my dream ghosts were invisible - and he could control them with his mind! And his hands. If he spun a hand around, the ghost spun around to! And he did it all whilst being twitchy and loopy and flaring his nostrils. HEAVEN.
Then I woke up and there was a giantass woodlouse trundling across my floor. WHERE DID THAT COME FROM OMFG. It must have found its way inside when I had my window open despite the wet, wet rain yesterday night.

HOWEVER, there is a catch: you can't just be like "OH I WANT QUESTIONS." Your comment has to either a) be relevant to this post or b) have a cute pixel in it. (
glorify I LIKE YOUR CATCH. Gimme cute pixels bitches.)
1. Plan a meal: appetizer, main, dessert.
Well for the appetiser/starter/whatever, I would have a fucking PRAWN PARTY SHIT YEAH. Prawn hors d'ouvres and prawn cocktail and shit maybe a bit of crab meat on the side. Give me your shellfish. Prawn cocktail is so unclassy, I know, but I could eat that shit all day and never get sick of it. Who knew mayo + ketchup could equal such delight?!
Then for the main meal, I would get my dad to make his pizza. My dad makes the best pizza in the world, no joke. I don't know what it is he does but the dough tastes SO GOOD. I could just eat his pizza bases without anything on top and I'd be happy. (But for this meal plan, there would be toppings. Tomato sauce and a few different types of cheese and then some chorizo and pepperoni mmmmm.) And then for dessert, I would enlist my dad once again to make his lemon sponge pudding. WHEN YOU MAKE IT, IT IS JUST A LEMONY GLOOP, BUT WHEN YOU BAKE IT, THE SPONGE RISES TO THE TOP AND THE DELICIOUS LEMON-Y SAUCE SINKS TO THE BOTTOM AND IT'S HEAVEN. Fucking sponge pudding, how does it work.
I think what I have done here is plan my birthday meal, actually.
2. What is your dream job? Logistics and likelihood aside, if you could do anything what would it be?
Are you ready for this. Okay for my dream job I am the head writer for the BBC and I have won like, five BAFTAs and I've also written some Oscar winning screenplays and I direct and produce shit as well and when I'm not doing that, I'm writing awesome bestselling novels and ohhh some comic books too and on the down time I write short stories that make hipsters cream their pants in their coffeeshop book clubs. AND MAYBE I'M WRITING A WITTY COLUMN FOR THE GUARDIAN, TOO. And then I get invited on QI and Mock the Week and everyone is like oh Tree you're so funny how do you do this and I just smile enigmatically. So, yknow, nothing major.
3. What is your theme song? Why?
XTC - Chalkhills and Children. I'll embed it because I'm good like that.

XTC were formed/based in my hometown (I went to school with the lead singer's son, ooohhh~) and the chalkhills they sing about are the chalkhills I grew up on, YAY. And check out that proper Wiltshire accent if you want to hear what I sounded like when I was little! But more than that, XTC are something like my dad's third favourite band so most of my clearest childhood memories have an XTC soundtrack to them. My past is very rooted in these songs they sing about these places I grew up, which means a lot to me now I'm ~spreading my wings and ~leaving the nest. Chalkhills isn't my favourite XTC song, and XTC aren't my favourite band, but it's the one that sends me right back to myself.
UNEXPECTEDLY SERIOUS ANSWER IS BOTH UNEXPECTED AND SERIOUS.
4. Sam or Dean?
S TO THE A TO THE M. ~the end~
5. What's something you feel passionate about that people might not know about?
MINESWEEPER. Love that shit. But no, ummm, hm I'm not sure what there is in my life that I'm passionate about and don't let people know about it loudly and repeatedly. I'm big on politics, but considering
theoret and I run
uk_lolitics that's kinda obvious. I'm really, really passionate about music to an extent that might surprise some people, idk. None of you have seen my dad and I play our song association games whilst Mum facepalms quietly in the corner. VICTORIAN CULTURE THRILLS AND DELIGHTS ME, which could come as a shock to those of you who've argued with me about my hate on for Jane Austen.
I DON'T REALLY KNOW.
