Oh crap I just reread The Sacred and Profane for the first time in four or five years. It's been so long I had actually FORGOT HOW IT ENDS and now my soul is crushed a little.
If you haven't read it before, YES THIS IS A REC. Good Omens AU, PG-13/R, Crowley/Aziraphale except not because in this universe Aziraphale's the demon (Zirah) and Crowley's the angel (Caphriel). They are still the same and yet also SO HORRIBLY, TRAGICALLY DIFFERENT.
