SUCCESSFUL TRIP HOME WAS SUCCESSFUL! I am still not caught up with FNL, but I am a couple of episodes closer.
I just had one of those evenings where basically every little thing that happened was SO VERY TYPICALLY MY FAMILY. It was like someone had turned my household up to eleven. It was a little bit surreal. (But in a pleasant way!)
In the course of a few hours, my dad talked me through a diagram of the new tent they're planning on buying and then somehow smoothly transitioned into his latest musical discovery, my mum showed me maps of their upcoming camping trip, we got into a discussion about Shakespeare's dirty jokes, and then we turned the rugby on and Mum and I cooed over the male bonding whilst Dad cradled his OED in his lap and taught us exciting new words.
(Sentence of the day: "I say, look at that gallimaufry of futtocks!")
If I ever had to show someone a quintessential evening in the Tree household, this evening would probably be it.

Anyway, more importantly, whilst Mum and I were cooing over the beefy men hugging each other, I made an extremely important discovery.
When I picture Captain America in my head, this is the guy I am picturing:
He is Jonny Wilkinson and he plays rugby for England, if you're wondering. Sadly he is a bit short and English and probably cannot act, or else, yknow, Marvel could hire me as their casting director.

OH PS BY THE WAY BRITS ON MY FLIST THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! Tomorrow, Zathura: a Space Adventure is on channel 5 at 5:55pm. WATCH IT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. It is essentially weechesters having an adventure in space and learning valuable lessons about siblinghood (seriously, they even look like wee Sam and Dean it's amazing) AND!! KStew is their hilariously grumpy older sister.
(Also it is generally very good fun. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.)
