I realise this will be relevant to only like... five people on my flist, BUT Amazon.com is having a massiveass comic books sale. This shit is normally like £50+ so yknow even with the US to UK shipping and the rather rubbish exchange rate right now, it is one hell of a deal and I MUST ABUSE IT.
BUT I KNOW NOT WHAT TO BUY. I NEED INPUT.

I JUST CHECKED OUT THE US TO UK SHIPPING PRICES AND IT IS ACTUALLY CHEAPER THAN THE UK ONES. IS THIS REAL LIFE?? OH GOD SOMEONE STOP ME BEFORE I BUY EVERYTHING. Noooo the shipping is not as deliriously cheap as it lead me to believe.

HAHAHA OH SHIT there was some major geek buying frenzy going on there. Invincible Iron Man and the Death of Captain America are TOTALLY SOLD OUT. Oh comic fans, you crazies. I got me a copy of Avengers Disassembled in the end. For some reason Amazon has decided that if you wanna buy from the UK they're going to adjust the shipping so it comes to over £15 NO MATTER WHAT or something, idefk. Went for Iron Man Omnibus, discovered that it was like 20p cheaper than Avengers, the shipping rate was randomly so high, and figured SCREW IT I'll go for Avengers instead.
