curiouser and curiouser
So at about 10pm last night I heard some explosions. I thought they were just fireworks, as this is the kind of area where people randomly set off fireworks sometimes, but something about the last one made me think maybe it wasn't a firework after all. I went to the window to investigate and then the power went out! I heard some people running away from the direction of the potential fireworks, someone saying "oh my god", another saying something about gas. (I imagine that person was just speculating and there wasn't actually thing happening with gas, or else, yknow, we maybe would have been evacuated.)
About half an hour later, some kind of service truck with a flashing light (fire engine? idk. The flashing was blue, but it was juuust too far away for me to see it from my window) stopped at the end of the road. There were curious noises! People on the street talked to whoever was in the truck! I overhead nothing interesting :( It didn't stay very long. Six hours after the power cut, I woke up and discovered it was still out, so it must have been something kinda major?
In conclusion: I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.
