This post is something of a mixed bag.

1. help_haiti because damn does Haiti need some help. Not offering anything, but I might bid if I can afford it.

I love Olivia Wilde's idea for raising money. Sure she's exploiting her celebrity status but if that's the only way people are going to donate, then good on her for it tbh.

Basically she set a time limit and said whoever donates $100 in this time limit will get a personal thank you video from me. Then she set a later time limit but upped the amount to $200. People are apparently donating a lot as a result.

Makes you feel a bit T_T about the priorities of humanity but she seems to have her finger on the pulse of what people respond to and if Haiti gets more money because of that then that can only be a good thing.
