Angels in the SPN 'verse, I have decided, smell like cream. (NO NOT THAT KIND OF CREAM.) Delicious, fresh clotted cream. It makes Zachariah quite hard to take seriously, at times. Once, Castiel tried to help Dean and Sam kill a baby Jersey Devil, which ended with him sprawled on his back in the leaf litter whilst the Jersey Devil - which had five minutes previous been shrieking and kicking out with its incredibly gangly legs - licked his face.

Dean thought it was kind of funny until it started sucking on Castiel's nose. Then it got really hilarious.

I think Castiel keeps the baby Jersey Devil as a pet. It is his best friend. He calls it 'baby Jersey Devil.' (Naming things is not Castiel's strong suit.)

Occasionally he wakes up and it's trying to suckle from his face. Dean thinks this is categorically the most disturbing thing he's ever seen.

Why do our conversations always turn out like this?

He starts carrying around in his pockets those little pots of milk/cream for coffee. Whenever Baby Jersey Devil gets suckle-y, Castiel whips one out and carefully peels off the lid and lets Baby Jersey Devil feed. HE PROBABLY HOLDS BABY JERSEY DEVIL LIKE AN ACTUAL BABY WHILST HE'S DOING IT. It's a profoundly disturbing thing to watch.

Because you love Castiel and I love mocking Castiel 8D PERFECT COMBINATION.

Castiel buys Baby Jersey Devil little hats and scarves and booties for Christmas. Baby Jersey Devil chews them up and spit the woolly, saliva-y glob out onto the middle of Sam's bed. Sams cries. It is the best day ever.

Teen Jersey Devil develops a crush on Sam and humps him just ALL THE TIME. Castiel is an extremely distrustful parent and tries to give Sam talks on Treating The Jersey Devil Right and Bringing It Home By Eleven. Sam buries his head in his hands. Dean laughs until he's violently sick.

I'M NOT MOCKING IT. THEIR STORY HAS TO BE TOLD. THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THEIR LOVE!
