Not until January or February. The Cape tends to get rain and wind more than snow.
There's always the dreaded nor'easter, if you're looking for apocalyptic weather! Those hit the Cape fairly often, anytime during the cold part of the year.

As for time of year at which wintery stuff begins - iirc the warmer oceanic temps left over from the summer usually makes for mild autumns along the Cape, so I'd assume that winter's onset would similarly be somewhat later as well? Maybe?
