I just feel like I got a knack for this shit
Finished Watchmen! IT WAS GREAT UP UNTIL THE SQUID. What the fuck. I mean, I already knew about the squid. I learnt about the squid from HITLER. I spent the whole book wondering how the fuck they were going to get from 0 to squid, and that - that was possibly the most illogical surprise squid introduction I have ever experienced.
(I have experienced a great deal of illogical squid in my time.)
Idk, idk, I just found the ending really anticlimactic! I'd been absolutely riveted for the first like, eleven chapters, but those last two were just... EXPOSITION! SQUIDS! EXPOSQUIDTION!
Hum.
I did like it a whole lot, squid aside. I look forward to finally seeing the film and discovering what they did instead of dropping a psychic squid on New York. (I think Kripke should drop a psychic squid on Lawrence. (THE PSYCHIC SQUID IS SAM.))

ALSO, I forced Thelma and Louise on barthi and Male BFF, which was awesome. GODDDD I love that film sfm. And, as ever, it gave me such a goddamn yearning for an SPN crossover. THESE TWO PEOPLE WHO LOVE EACH OTHER MORE THAN ANYTHING AND WOULD RATHER DIE TOGETHER THAN BE APART AND ALSO THEY SHOOT THINGS? HELLO.
I want Thelma and Louise to haunt the Grand Canyon, possibly inciting this crazy need in people to jump over the edge with the person they love most in the world. Sam and Dean investigate! And probably almost die in the process, because their love for each other is possibly even more epic than Thelma and Louise's.
