I mean, yeah, she was in league with Lilith and manipulating the fuck out of Sam, but once the job was done she didn’t turn around and go ‘HA HA FOOLED YOU.’ She was still just as weirdly, sickly fond of Sam as she always has been. She wasn’t gloating at him, she was gloating with him.
“I know you’re a little angry right now,” like she thinks once he’s calmed down and had a little think about it, they’ll get right back to their shenanigans. Obviously I already loved Ruby long time, but this scene made her EVEN MORE FASCINATING to me.
