Years ago one of my best friends was working for a dating service (this was before online dating services) and they had a plethora of men but not many women. She convinced me to go on 3 dates so I could help her meet her quota. I was in a very not serious relationship at the time (more friends with benefits than anything) and he approved so I said ok to help out my friend. She said she would screen the candidates to find me some decent ones. I should have know she would be full of shit. All three dates sucked.

One guy actually wanted to have sex in the bar! One guy was a much older then my 27 years (geez, was it that long ago!) and he was a really scary kinda biker lookin dude. He was not very conversational and was very intimidating. We shot pool all night and barely spoke.

The third guy was actually okay, he was cute in a very clean cut nerdy way and was very sweet. Totally not my type but I could have enjoyed the evening....BUT...my not serious friend with bennies showed up at the restaurant with his buddies and they mocked me from a distance the whole night. Once my date noticed, he wanted to be gentlmanly and stand up to the other guys. I had to say they were my friends and then it just got more awkward as he wanted to meet them after we ate and we ended up having drinks with them and Ugh....it was bad. Every time my date had his head turned away, the other guy (who claimed to be fine with me dating) kept groping me and whispering in my ear what he wanted to do to me. It was so freakin awkward.
