So at first I liked this episode and then PAMELA FUCKING DIED and I hated it but now I like it again.

Although PAM’S DEATH WAS SO AWFUL. I really like how fucking pissed off she was about it. SHE DID NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT. The Winchesters are such life ruiners. They got her eyes burned out and then they got her killed and by god she let them know it. I DIG IT. Makes a nice change from the ~oh of course I will help you brave heroes~ that you see on SPN and also every show ever.

And I am QUITE ANNOYED AT SHOW for using clips from what I can only assume is next week’s episode in that amazing promo from a while back. I kept WAITING FOR THOSE THINGS TO HAPPEN and glancing at the time and going ‘huh how the hell are they going to fit that in?’ and it kinda distracted me from watching the episode. DECEIT.

Nff I liked this episode but I’m still kind of zombieish and I’m not sure I have much to say about it. It’s disorganised bullet points time!~

• THE BOYS ARE SO AWKWARD AND SAD AND IT MAKES ME SAD. I have pretty much accepted that we are never going to see inside Sam’s head until like the last possible minute when it will hopefully be this AMAZING BURST OF ANGST AND PAIN AND PSYCHIC POWARRRZ. Oh god Sam stop fucking lyyying all the time. I understand why you are doing it but it causes me so much pain. You can’t tell the truth because then Dean won’t trust you but when you lie Dean won’t trust you D: and you just want your brother to ~love you like he used to~ SERIOUSLY GUYS SAM WINCHESTER’S LIFE SUCKS SO MUCH.
  
  
• UM. GOD BLOGGERS. What was that site? Flooredbythelord.com. Seriously. So amazing. QUICK SOMEBODY BUY THAT DOMAIN NAME. Except I predict it would probably be a Dean/Castiel site, which goes against my religion.
  
  
• Also I liked how that whole scene with the undead guy was played. Dean just going *_* at his fellow second chancian, with that stupid schmoopy eye-crinkled smile of LOVE on his face, and then jumping right from that into Sam’s CROSS-ROAD DEMON INTERROGATION. Eurgh seriously. Sam can’t understand what it feels like to have angels watching over him. Sam has pretty much accepted that angels are never gonna watch over him and miraculous happenings are just down to demons and that he will never get any second chances :(
  
  … GODDAMMIT DEAN GIVE YOUR BROTHER A SECOND CHANCE. MAYBE THEN HE WILL STOP LYING TO YOU ALL THE TIME.

• Also, just. Smoking ghosts out. It just makes me imagine them as like, ferrets or something. FERRET HAUNTING. And then Sam and Dean chase after them with nets. That is my mental image for you.

• Okay seriously how are we spelling Alistair? Alastair? Screw it, I’m calling him Al. AL YOU ARE SO CREEPY AND AWFUL AND I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU AND DEAN GOT UP TO IN HELL. (Maybe they tortured people together once Dean gave in. :O Maybe Al has a bit of a crush now, but he doesn’t know how to express his ~feelings~, so he just gives Dean concussions instead.) Eurgh and Sam is just so RIDICULOUSLY FUCKING ANGRY to see him. See, Dean, see? Sam loves you so much and he basically wants to rip apart everything that ever hurt you. WITH HIS MIND.
  
  
• SAM RESISTING DEMON POWERS. “YOU’RE STRONGER SAM”, “YOU HAVE NO IDEA.” OMG I AM SO GLAD THAT WAS A REAL PIECE OF DIALOGUE RATHER THAN THE PROMO JUST SPLICING THINGS TOGETHER IN TANTALISING WAYS.
  
  
• OKAY OKAY SERIOUSLY HE FLUNG AL INTO A TREE. WAS THAT TELEKENISIS OR JUST A SRS BZNS EXORCISM? CAUSE. CAUSE I MEAN. HE WASN’T DOING EXORCIST HAND WHEN HE THREW AL. HE WAS DOING A DIFFERENT HAND. THEN HE SHIFTED AND GOT INTO A NEW POSITION AND MADE EXORCIST HAND.

And- eeeeeeeee now Dean REMEMBERS. God I may have to rewatch IMTOD after this. DEAN REMEMBERS *_* Which, on the one hand, gives him more reason to angst about how he should have died and blah blah, but on the other… DEAN REMEMBERS.
  
  
• Also, ANGEL DEMON DANCE OFF. This + those hotass pictures of Jared from yesterday = I need an SPN/J2 West Side Story AU.
  
  
• Oh Saaaam and Coooole. I really like that Sam was all emphathising with the dead kid rather than the bereaved mother. I mean, idk, maybe he was just pulling it out of his manipulative little ass to make Cole do what he wants, buuut. HIS FACE. His stupid face when he’s all “this must be pretty overwhelming.” And easing up on the flying soccer balls. And Cole’s inability to let go of his familyyyy. And just. SAM FACE. SO SAD. You are so not okay, Sam Winchester.
  
  
• I cannot work out whether he was really lying to Cole to get him to do what he wants or if he actually COULD have stopped Tessa. Idkkk, something about the way he says it. Ofc either option delights me.
  
  
• DEAN YOU ARE THE WORST GHOST EVER. Cole is way more badass than you. (Also, ghosts having to get angry to be able to touch things. That just makes me sad. In order to be able to connect with the world they have to force themselves to lose their humanity. Oh angry spirits, you are the tragicest ♥) AND OH MY GOD SAM’S LITTLE LOLLING FACE WHEN COLE BITCHSLAPPED DEAN. BROTHERS.
  
  
• I do wonder if Sam could use his demon powers as a ghost. I mean, we never see him practicing anything. And then when Al is all LOL YOU CANNOT USE YOUR DEMON POWERS NOW, maybe it was just ‘cause the iron chain was in the way. You seeeee? (I just want an excuse for more psychic tbh.)
  
  
• Also, RETURN OF SAM’S INTENSELY-ANGRY-TO-SEE-AL FACE. I love it. He is always so much more pissed off at demons than Dean is. Like in Lazarus Rising when they’re talking to Awesome Waitress Demon and Dean was all Zen and Sam was all SECONDS AWAY FROM MURDERING SOMETHING. (Ha ha clearly all his anger is turning him to the dark side of the force. Yoda would not approve.)
  
  
• a) ha ha Al acknowledges Dean’s angsty little noggin. b) ANGELIC LIGHTNING BOLT OF DOOM. c) Oh Castiel with your confused little frowny faces. Augh I was so sure he was going to make an exception for Pamela but then he didn’t (DAMN YOU KRIPKE) and I kinda like that more. Castiel you are indeed a dick with wings. (Hey I wonder if angels can get ghost sickness. Potential hilarity y/n?)
  
  
• Staying here is a whole lot worse than going with Tessa the reaper. Because one day your family will be gone. SHUT UP DEAN. GO HUG YOUR ANTICHRIST BROTHER.
  
  
• Man, I love Tessa’s whole speech at the end there. She is NOT HUMAN and it was nice to be reminded of that, PLUS a whole heaping of doom-y foreshadowing. Trust your instincts. There’s no such thing as miracles. AAHHH. Trust his instincts against Sam’s demon powers? Trust his instincts against Castiel because there’s no such thing as miracles? COME BACK TESSA. TELL US YOUR SECRETS.

So this week on necrophilia watch: Dean kissed a reaper. They are kind of undead. Also, yknow, he stuck his ghostly hand inside his ghostly brother. It was hot.

I GUESS I HAD MORE TO SAY THAN I THOUGHT.

ALSO, IT JUST OCCURRED TO ME THAT THIS EPISODE HAS PROBABLY INSPIRED EVEN MORE SAMHATE IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE PARTICULARLY RABID DEANGIRLS. ~OH SAM IS SO TERRIBLE AND EVIL AND HE LIES TO DEAN BLAH BLAH~. SHUT UP RABID DEANGIRLS. AS PAMELA HAS CLEARLY EXPLAINED TO US, BOTH WINCHESTERS SUCK.

ALSO, looking around I have seen a bit of negativity re the complete lack of faith everyone ever has in Sam. Which is just, one of those wonderful displays of YMMV, because I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with the complete lack of trust Sam's received. IT'S SO PAINFUL. HE HAS NOBODY ON HIS SIDE EXCEPT RUBY WHO, MUCH AS I LOVE HER, IS ALMOST CERTAINLY A MANIPULATIVE BITCH. He'll go darkside in an extremely tragic manner and everyone will go '... man, maybe we should have been supporting him instead of eying him suspiciously.' YAY.
