Aw man, scans_daily. :( THAT REALLY SUCKS. I mean, okay, I'm not into comics, but I reckon I probably will be one day and when that day comes I thought s_d would be there for me. Eurgh, piracy laws, you are so dated. (Get with the tiiiiimes, man~)

I kind of want to write some really filthy porn and I don't know quite what to do with myself. Hi, I'm Tree, I'm seriously bad at porn and I've written it something like twice in my life and I JUST DON'T WRITE IT. EVER. (except for those two times.) wtf self. Stop thinking about porn and start writing the fic you should be writing. Or like, do some work. Either option is a good one.
I've been feeling seriously insecure about my writing skillz lately, but now I've proven myself worthy of Jared the Limerick Master (and really, what more can a girl ask for in life?) I think I might be able to start getting somewhere with things.

I still haven't finished reading Hamlet, but I am a goddamn pro at BSing my way through a class, and the more we look at it the more I become aware that SUPERNATURAL FITS THE REVENGE TRAGEDY MODEL SUSPICIOUSLY WELL.
OBSERVE, MY LECTURE NOTES:
a) characters looking for revenge. Uh, check check and double check.
b) driven by a death that was violent/sexual and unnatural. Repeated check.
c) seeking punishment where society can't provide it. Obviously.
d) appearance of ghost(s) of victims who urge/observe the vengeance. Less with the urging but definitely with the appearing.
e) real/falsified insanity. HI CRAZY SAM WINCHESTER.
f) graveyard scenes. More check than you can shake a stick at.
g) limbs and bodyparts and gore etc. Well, yknow, HI KRIPKE.
h) violence. See above.
i) avenger experiences periods of doubt. The only time they're not doubting themselves these days is when they're doubting each other.
j) avenger places self outside the normal moral order. IT IS THE WINCHESTER WAY. (especially that crazy Sam.)
So what does this mean? It means that if Sam succeeds on his crazy quest for vengeance HE MUST DIE. Assuming that, y'know, Krip is following Shakespeare. He might be. You never know. (Then again, perhaps Dean will be able to redeem Sam. My notes hold nothing about the healing power of gay incest love, but I bet the Elizabethans would have dug it.)
