things, stuff: electric boogaloo
1. It's so nice having a geek for a brother. Okay, I don't think he'd get the appeal of making very attractive brothers sex each other, but he's fully in tune with the inherent joy of the Minesweeper movie trailer, and he's going to transfer all the Heroes on his mac onto this PC for me. SCORE.
2. Eye appointment tomorrow. Which, thank fuck, 'cause I can't actually read this monitor properly any more. (Probably I should just the back fuck away and NOT DESTROY MY EYES until I've at least got new glasses, but.) On the downside, no longer on the NHS, so REALLY FUCKING EXPENSIVE. Joy.
3. I am 100% aiming for getting the highschool fic complete by this time next week. Or, failing that, just... as close to finished as I can. I'm easy.
4. Further proof of said easiness: feedback meme! I'm too eyes-falling-off to add my share of love to the comments today, but it's 100% on the to-do list.
5. OH I FORGOT TO SAY. I totally watched a bit of the first episode of Smallville the other day. It is ha ha ha so bad. I think I'm a little in love with it anyway. Fucking CW RPS and my strange need to be loyal to them. (I even ♥ CMM a little.)
6. I'm getting the house to myself for a week in March, whilst the parents gallivant about Australia and the brother does Things With Skiis in Finland. I suspect the vast majority of teenagers faced with such a predicament would be planning the parties AS WE SPEAK. Me? I'm thinking about cooking nice food for myself and commandeering the telly. Let me tell you internet, it takes dedication to get this hardcore.
