AAARGH I HATE THIS NEW UPDATE PAGE SO MUCH.

So I actually really liked the last few episodes of SPN that I've watched (skipped a couple of weeks here and there.) The last two episodes especially warmed the ancient, bitter cockles of my Samandean heart. FUCKING WINCHESTERS, VICIOUS CYCLES, GDIT. It even made me want to write fic a bit, but probably by the time I finish writing all the other stuff I'm writing I'll have cycled back around to being bitter again. MOST VICIOUS OF CYCLES, NO ESCAPE, ETC. I just love Sam and Dean so muhuhuhuch.
(Also, I legitimately forgot that Castiel exists until his name was mentioned the other week. It was so amazing and tragic, not even realising I was living in a wonderful delusion until said delusion was shattered. I think I missed the latest episode he was in so I'd had the whole hiatus + several weeks + extended periods of 'god why have we started watching this show again, we should just quit' with
theoret to just... wipe him from my mind.)

Also, IS ANYONE ELSE WATCHING SUITS? HELP ME, I REALLY, REALLY LOVE SUITS. I gave it a try because
theoret is into it, but I hadn't at all been expecting to get sucked in - or even really to enjoy it, because it's so not the kind of thing I usually like. And yet. AND YET--
I ship Harvey/Mike so hard I'm even reading the ridiculous fic on FFN. Help.

Also, also (ARGH I'VE EXTENDED THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TEXT BOX AND IT'S STARTED DOING ITS AWFUL STRETCHING THING, WHAT'S WRONG WITH SCROLL BARS LJ, WHAT'S WRONG WITH SCROLL BARS) I have been reading House of Leaves and just finished it last night. Anyone else read it? I'm feeling all... wants to talk about book-ish, but nobody to turn to.
I'd been meaning to read it for years, but in retrospect I'm glad I didn't give it a try until I'd left uni because I think pre-uni it would have just sailed right over my head. But I really loved everything to do with the creepyass Navidson Record (and kind of wish someone would make the documentary) and I found the academic stuff pretty interesting and I even enjoyed the upsidedown footnotes and having to twist and turn the book around and stuff, but oh my god shut up Johnny Truant. I HATED JOHNNY TRUANT. WHY DID HE EXIST. I didn't want to skip his footnotes in case I missed something important but I just wanted to strangle him/the book/myself every time I saw another of his gigantic digressions approaching. I hated him so much I had to tell the internet about.
There. That's better.
(Also, also, also, immediately wanted to write a million crossovers Obviously. Suits + HoL = SUIT OF LEAVES! Game of Thrones + HoL = GAME OF LEAVES OH HO HO. What if while Tony is rebuilding Stark Tower he discovers a strange new door that wasn't in the specs! What if Sam and Dean stumble upon a black corridor whilst they're investigating their new bunker love nest! What if there's something even more sinister than a giant fucking dragon lurking in the Lonely Mountain!)
