Jon had been for a run, and thought he'd see if anyone in Claire's cabin had brought food back to share.

Yes, he was a mooch.

And if there wasn't food, maybe he could talk his girlfriend into going to get pancakes or something.

"Is everyone decent?" he called out through the door.

Oh, that was a familiar voice. The no-longer-a-bear girl ran over to hug Jon, sticky fingers and all.

"Bonjour, Jon!"

Jon blinked down at the girl and should be forgiven that his first thought was 'Thank God she didn't call me dad'. His second thought was that it was a good thing he hadn't changed out of his running clothes yet.

"Um, Bonjour. Who are you?"

Claire gave him a grin. "That would be my teddy bear from France. The one I decided to bring down to the cabins with me."

She was still afraid to go and check her room for the rest of them.

Jon just blinked at the girl, and then blinked up at Claire. "And she's like this for how long?" Because it could be really weird for classes. Did the island even have a day care?

"I have no idea," Claire said with a shrug. "I woke up with her like this."

"Wow. Weird." Jon was starting to wonder if any thing of his up at the dorm had turned.

"No kidding," Claire said. "Weird barely begins to cover it."
