Room 312 - Wednesday Early Afternoon
Anyone passing by the partially open door of room 312 might notice an agitated Claire pacing back and forth while listening to someone on the other end of the phone.
"Did he hurt you or Lyle?... Okay, okay... uh huh... did he seem to know anything about where I am?... All right, I'll be home tomorrow... Mom, I am not staying here and letting you deal with this on your own... how am I going to be in danger if he's saying the Company is going to leave me alone?... Whatever. I need to do this. For Dad's sake... No... okay, I'll see you tomorrow then. Love you."
She hung up the phone and started slamming drawers open and closed, haphazardly tossing clothes and shoes and other things on her bed so she could pack. It had been almost two months since her father's death and she knew it couldn't be a good sign that Bob Bishop had randomly dropped in on her mother and brother. It was beyond time for her to try to bring the Company down.
