He'd promised Dana the winter months in her home, and he'd nearly not been able to deliver on the promise. The winter air had settled sooner than expected, which had led Joe to push to leave earlier so they would be sure to make it. And he'd been right. They'd made it just in time. The last leg of their trip there had been a heavy snow, and the merchants were saying that roads were closing due to the inability to see anymore, as well as the cold as the tempurature started to drop.

Slipping out of the carriage, he turned and held a hand out for his wife to help her out safely. "Does it feel good to be back, my Lady?" He's hoping that the answer is yes, even if it is winter so the land won't be as beautiful as it might otherwise be.
