Just ran into MIDWATCH on Zyzzyva. The definition is "a watch on a ship between midnight and 4 A.M.". Does anyone know of any other definitions with times written like that, in either OSPD or CSW?

Just searched the dictionary file, and not really. Only thing that comes close is POSTMIDNIGHT, no definition. Searched for A.M. and P.M., nothing. Midnight, just POSTMIDNIGHT. Noon, there's some stuff. PRENOON, MIDNOON, FORENOON, but nothing really like MIDWATCH.

Oh, I should've thought of searching that myself!

Thanks for doing this. That's pretty neat.

DOGWATCH
In CSW, the def is given as:
A two hour watch on board a ship

DOGWATCH is defined with specific times in most dictionaries - e.g. "either of two short watches: from 4-6 pm or 6-8 pm", but not in Zyzzyva.

FOURSES# is "an afternoon snack at 4 pm"
FOURSES# and ELEVENSES seem analogous, but I don't see any definitions of ELEVENSES that mention the specific time - they all just say mid morning.
