I forgot what a trap LiveJournal is for me in terms of my own posts. I can easily revisit (and rewrite) portions of an entry a half-dozen times over the course of the week, long after anyone is ever going to read it again.

I should probably stop doing that.

I tweak verbiage and phrasing endlessly. I read a sentence and feel that it's unwieldy and rephrase the whole thing.

At some level, I'm a wannabe writer trapped in the life of a software developer and the body of a Greek god.
