Two hundred two dollars and sixty cents later, the car is purring like a kitten (well, the decaying metal carcass of a kitten).
After thirty minutes of waiting, I convinced the doctor not to lecture me but instead to give me meds to be taken as needed (I believe this whole Acid Reflux thing is stress-related and can be handled in other ways (I just wanted something immediate for this weekend)).
After a shitty fucking week, my evening plans collapsed and I am happy as a clam. I have a big drive tomorrow and I want to rest up.
