My workday in a nutshell (of course, I have done no actual work)
6:30 AM - My alarm goes off, I shut it down and go back to sleep.
7:30 AM - I decide that 10 hours of sleep should suffice and get up.
7:45 AM - I sulk and drink my morning glass of water.
8:00 AM - I begin the workout regimen scheduled for 7:00.
8:25 AM - The phone rings during my shoulder set. I ignore it.
8:26 AM - The cellphone rings and I know it's A., so I ignore it.
9:10 AM - I finish my workout and head into the shower.
9:35 AM - I manage to cut my shower "short" to a mere 25 minutes.
9:50 AM - I exit my apartment and head to Safeway to pick-up "breakfast."
9:55 AM - No one answers my call to A.'s house.
10:30 AM - I arrive at work and save my voicemail messages for posterity.
10:40 AM - I discover there is ANOTHER reorg meeting at 11. I inhale my donut.
11:00 AM - I attend a reorg meeting for our department.
11:10 AM - Diagrams are passed around and rejoice to see I am officially on my new team.
11:11 AM - I see that G. has followed my old manager onto a new project.
11:12 AM - I start to feel guilty that K. is left behind with a new manager and no reliable workers.
11:25 AM - The meeting wraps up and I briefly meet with my new manager in the hall.
11:45 AM - K. and I skip out of work to go see Minority Report.
12:05 PM - A. calls me back outside the box office to discuss seeing the Minority Report tonight.
12:15 PM - I eat two hotdogs and sit through a thousand previews.
2:45 PM - We exit the theater pleased but critical. My butt is intensely sore.
3:15 PM - I return to work to find another message from my old employer regarding how the forms I FAXed them were "slanted."
3:20 PM - I re-FAX my old employer six pages, including one that had to be signed in the presence of a witness all so they can pay me the $0.03 (yes, three cents) they still owe me (that I don't even want).
3:30 PM - I begin eyeballing the many bottles of Smirnoff Ice that K. placed under my desk (he hates it) but decide drinking alcohol at work might be tempting fate.
3:45 PM - I update LJ.
