Good day at church and youth... As most of you know this past week I had gone on a mission trip with my youth group. We went camping in the "great" outdoors. I never really talked about it to ya'll when I came back because I was really negitive about it all. But I got to thinking about it and how God really spoke to me. Well one night all the middle schoolers were fighting and it really got to point where I was tired of it. Tired of the pointless bickering. I was really getting agitated at everyone. Plus alot was on my mind. Mostly relationships... So I went off to sit by myself and just have some time to talk to God. God just spoke to me about my relationship with the people here on this earth. I was and had been really dependant on relationships on this earth. It got to a point that I would cry about them for hours because I was afraid of losing them. Afraid that if I didn't have them I couldn't shine for God by myself. God just said "Yo (ha-ha that's how God talks to me) Ashlee, I brought these relationships into your life for joy, not to be afraid of the future because you know I have that all worked out. You know that even if things don't work out like you want them to at the beginning. You know that I have them worked out and it'll all work out in the end, so don't worry. Don't you ever let Satan tell you that without those people you'll never have a awesome relationship with me because you know what? You will always have a relationship with me. I will always be with you to the end. I know you'll shine for me. But you've just got to put your trust in me and love me more than anything (If you want to be my follower you must love me more than your own father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters - yes, more than your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26). Ashlee I will love you always". It was really powerful. I just started crying thinking about all the joy he had given me. Like the post I had made before the trip (I am overcome with joy because of your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. Psalm 31:7). These relationships here on earth are only temporary compared to eternity with the Father. And all will work out for those who love him… All will…
