That's right. The actual holiday isn't until the 31st, but it seems like even this place gets into the spirit of it early.

Perhaps it's closer to our celebration, then - Hallow's End lasts for the last two weeks of the month.

Still, how odd knowing that the same festival effectively exists in three unconnected worlds.

It is strange. I wonder if the origins behind them are all alike, too.

I can't rightly say for the others, but Hallow's End was originally a festival to celebrate the end of harvest. It's since... become something beyond that, but the original core idea remains.

Yeah... It's something like that where I'm from, too.

And does it use the same decorative themes? Of pumpkins and the like.

I wonder if it's universal, or if there's merely a common thread that ties our particular worlds together.

I wish I could say. This other world business is still pretty new to me, but I hear they're all really different from one another.

Perhaps not as much as you might think. Certainly, some are rather unique, but... I've met people from separate worlds that all have rather significant similarities.

If this is anything to go by, then perhaps you're right. I wonder how many out there are like mine, then...

Is there a place in your world called Japan? I've met more than one person in this place from that country - many from entirely separate worlds.
