Were you an important figure in your world then?

I was the leader of a small city-state that happened to be near territory of our one-time enemy. We managed a peaceful coexistence... perhaps the first time anything of that sort on that scale has ever been possible.

That is a peace that must be preserved.

I agree most heartily. As King of my Country I was responsible for maintaining that fragile peace. You have my utmost respect.

And please, the pleasure is mine. Tell me, do you know much about the politics pertaining to this world? It seems peaceful enough, but I sense something sinister at work behind the shadows.

I suppose that depends on what you mean by politics. As near as I can tell, there is no political system out of individual groups, and though the Overlord is apparently in charge of guarding this world, she has never issued any edicts or proclamations.

I see. That is slightly troubling should anything devastating occur, the people would stand little chance of remaining unified and strong.

I think you perhaps underestimate those here. We've made it through devastation before.
