Hobbies: various sports (tennis, swimming, soccer, swimming, biking) acting and singing (though i haven't had the opportunity to do it in a long time, and i miss it terribly) writing
Likes: the crisp cool air of autumn, being out doors, animals (especially the feline kind), making new friends, staying in touch with old ones, and art, even though i have no talent in it myself, i enjoy looking at the works of other people with talent ;)
Dislikes: rude people - you can be honest without being tactless, humidity (it's not fun with asthma) getting up early, injustice/intolerance/cruelty in any of its forms, rush hour traffic
Strong points: confident (mostly), loyal, honest, caring, passionate, active, witty, creative
Weaker points: messy, impatient, hot-tempered, sometimes overly sensitive, mistrusting, judemental

Colour: purple - it's a color that both energizes and calms me depending on the shade, it's the color of royalty, it's a spiritual color, and it's got the passion of red and the depth of blue
Smell: lemon or cinnamon depending on what it is
Animal: cats - they're graceful, clean, affectionate but independent, and they've got confidence and a sort of style about them. i find them fascinating
Food: this changes depending on my mood. i'm a huge fan of anything spicy, i love thai food, i also love italian food, anything with noodles or rice. i'm a carb addict, i'll admit it
Drink: grape juice
Place: I love toronto, it's such a beautiful city full of various cultures and activities. In general, i like being by trees, and water and any place up high, i like climbing tall trees and hills and looking down at everything, i do a lot of thinking that way
Music: i like a little of everything, i don't have one genre that i listen above all else, i like 80s music a lot cyndi lauper, the bangels, the go gos, madonna - that seems to be the thing that i find my self listening to most often these days, i also like r&b and hip hop, classical, broadway, i'm too big a fan of rap or country, but there *are* exceptions
Movies: i'm a huge fan of disney musicals, my favorites are "aladdin," "the little mermaid" and "hercules", i also like the wedding singer (yay 80s music!) and pirates of the caribbean
Books: "enchantment" by orson scott card - a modern day sleeping beauty story, more or less. i also enjoy the "harry potter" series and an old childhood favorite "the secret garden"
Historical era, and why: i have a fascination with the 1920s, i love the clothes and the music and just the whole attitude, i also love the 80s, partly just due to nostalgia and partly because it had the best cartoons of any period!
If you could live anywhere in the world for one year, where would you go, and why?: ooh i'd love to go to so many places, japan comes to mind, but i think italy, because i have some relatives there that i'd love to meet (i'm half italian) and because i love the language. very pretty :)
What historical, mythological, or legendary character do you most identify with, and why? faeries, they're mischevious and fun and energetic :)
