So here's the thing! I started working now so I don't have much time for long fics. But since I love writting and I can't stop it, I want to try something. Send me a gif by commenting on this post and I'll write a drabble for it! You can send any pairings, but if I think I can't do one of them, I'll just tell you and ask you to change, ok? But I'm sure I'll do pretty much anything.
To start the party, here's one I did today while on tumblr.
Title: Two is Better Than One
Pairing: Iker Casillas/Sergio Ramos
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Don't sue.
Summary: Based on the gif behind the cut.
Iker was waiting in line at the tunnel, trying to ignore the anxiety and the cameras around him, like he always did. These were the times he wished Raul was back. And Guti too. He loved his captains, but he also loved being the leader now. Even though he felt like exploding before important games.
But suddenly there was a tap on the back of his head.
At first he thought someone had hit him with a water bottle or something like that. But then a hand came to rest on top of his head and he didn’t even have to look for more than two seconds before he recgonized that scent. It was so… Sergio.
So he leaned in, because that was what he always did. And that was what Sergio always offered: support. On and off the pitch. Sergio would just know what Iker needed. A surprise visit to Iker’s flat or a dinner out somewhere. Iker remembers the day Sergio showed up at his doorstep after a loss to Barcelona and kissed him. “Because you need to understand.”
Iker didn’t understand it that day. Or the next match they lost, when Sergio kissed him again and even slept over. He eventually did ask the
other captain what he meant by that, though.
“You’re not alone, Iker. It may be only one armband inside the field, but it’s not only one heart aching.”
So now, kissing Sergio back on the cheek, he could smile and know that even though there was a crest tugging thigh on his arm, there was a
hand on his back watching over him in a way an armand would never do.
