eatin' veggies

Here i am again. not that long ago i ripped a pair of pants that i really liked. they are not that attractive looking, but they were very comfortable and were good for excessive walking around... which is partly to blame for their ripping in the first place. anyway, after i went into pants crisis and resolved it with newer more expensive and more attractive pants, i sewed up these old ones to the point in which i believe they are wearable to resume in excessive walking. if i make the switch back i should also help save the newer pants from the same fate.

i have been on a new foods rampage lately, so this week i went for peaches. i have had peach flavored things before.. instant oatmeal, yogurt (even the kind with the chunks in it), flavored tea, and even actual peaches once last year. i know this all sounds pretty lame, but im going to keep going because in the scheme of life this is more important to me than most of the other stuff i write about. so i bought peaches, they were on sale 2 for 5 euro, one pack of peaches one pack of pears. (i dont eat pears really, but can live with in stuff like muffins) so i got like 6 medium sized peaches, and i need to figure out how to use them up in the next week or so. so today, i cut them up and cooked them on the stove for some cinnamon-peach goodness and then put them into some vanilla pudding. go me, it was good and even brooks ate it. i after i eat that up, im going to put them into some peach jello. then, maybe peach coffee cake. then that should be the end of them. i could go for putting them into yogurt but i already have yogurt with little stuff in it for the week

there were plums on sale with the other fruit, so if they still look good next week i might venture to them... they were pretty small so they should be an easy addition. they dont really have much for melons here :( im going to eat all the melon i can when im back in MN.

to continue on that trend... last week i started eating tomatoes. the week before i bought a pineapple and cut it up and ate it all, and the week before that cooked and ate green beans and mushrooms.

I liked the green beans! there was this one time katy cooked green beans and thought i was like totally absurd that i didnt want to eat them. then she and brooks like forced me to eat them and i didnt like them. well i kind of feel like i redeemed myself... it just took me time. we will now eat green beans like at least once a week.

i think im going to learn to cook and eat the super irish foods here sometime... turnips and parsnips. that would be just out of control. well while im on that, if i start eating carrots... that would be just as surprising as green beans.

the matrix is all around us.
