mush the days into 1
My drive back to IA was uneventful. Long, dull, but it did rain REALLY hard for a while… enough to wash the majority of the bug murders off my car even. NICE! I got into Des Moines about 2:30am…. Unloaded most of my car and went to be so I could get up at 6:45am and get to work…nearly on time even. Got home and called the house seller lady and set up a time for next week to get things moving. Then putts around until bed… way too late.
Wednesday - work again, then came home and had dinner with Pam and Jon. YAY. They are going to be the new owners (or guardians if you are all pc) for my fish. I love you fishes… ok lies… I was just tolerating them mostly until they died…but they would not because I kept taking care of them. Sheesh. But I liked them anyway. I am sure that that would die if I tried to transport them when I move… so I found them a home in a decked out 50 gal tank. Nice! Most definitely an upgrade for them. Good Bye fishes… I will miss you mildly and know where to find you if I need to. The Fish transfer took much longer than I thought so I missed out in the Star Wars marathon. Probably should have called.. but what can I say… I am a bit of an ass.
Today was the joy of working double shifts. YAY for two jobs… morning playing with corn embryos… afternoon getting birthday presents… and evening at the pharmacy.
I did get a chance to play on the uni for a wee bit today. Did much better than I though I would do to the fact that I haven’t really attempted to ride it in roughly two weeks. YAY. Cody’s mounting teachings have proved most helpful… I have abandoned the wall and am now determined… I mounted for a nanosecond! Wahoo. I even mounted and did a full back peddle… though I was attempting to go forward… oops.. oh well. I am still all giddy about the progress…even though it is pitiful and sad how much I still suck… YAY to suckage! It keeps things interesting for longer.
This weekend I will be going out of town to see Katie in Leon Iowa. Yeeehaw! We are going camping and to the Rodeo. I will try to get pictures.
