[Despite seeing this very cutesy pony on his screen, he decides to answer the pony because he's become use to this.]

Not all humans eat meat.

[And by now she's had a little bit of sense talked into her. Still doesn't look super pleased, though.]

Still, I just don't get why they do. Arche says it's kinda necessary, though.

The reason why is because there is a type of chemical called iron and protein within meat that we humans need in our bodies to live. Otherwise, they find protein or iron within special herbal supplements or in other foods such as eggs or vegetables.

But there is other stuff that can give 'em iron. And we use eggs and herbs all the time.

[We being ponies.]

Of course, it's simply that people find meat to be the best provider of iron and protein. I'm rather fond of eggs and herbs myself more than meat.

Glad I'm not the only one! We usually just use eggs for baking in Ponyville, but I think that still counts.

You know how to bake? [Now he's more curious.]

I don't, but I know plenty of ponies that do, like Applejack and Pinkie Pie.

Applejack? Pinkie Pie? Excuse me for saying this, but those are names I've never heard before for any type of pony or horse.

They're pretty normal names for Equestrian ponies. I'm Rainbow Dash, and my other friends are named Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle.

I see. And where exactly is this Equestria you come from?

It's... somewhere? In another world.

[She hasn't thought of the exact coordinates, really. That's probably Twilight's thing.]

But Equestria's full of ponies.

Are there no humans in your world? [He sounds a bit confused.] Only ponies and cows?

I'd never even heard of hue-mans until I came here.

[A beat.]

There's more than just ponies and cows, though. We've got dragons, manticores, sea serpents, griffins, Zecora's a zebra, mules, buffalo... and there's a whole bunch of other animals, but most of 'em don't talk.

So no people, meaning us humans, are in your world? Hmmm, that's very fascinating to hear.

Nope, just ponies. Ponies are kinda the... ruling species in Equestria, if you wanna put it that way.

We control everything, too. The clouds, the plants, the animals. And Princess Celestia raises the sun.
