crazy monday
for those of you who dont know, i volunteer at the birch aquarium at scripps in la jolla. every monday i am part of a whale watching crew that goes out and shows the public whales in the san diego harbor. yesterday was crazy. i have never been sea sick before, but yesterday the swells were so bad that i ran to the first deck of the boat and just hung out hoping not to throw up. one of the crew members saw me so he was going to get me some ice cream because he said it would help. while he was getting it for me i had my face out the window staring at the horizon and feeling the nice breeze. all of a suddne i got hit by someone elses barf from the second deck. that made me feel even worse so i ran to the bathroom. i never thought i would say that i got thrown up on from someone. the whole crew on the boat found out and they were talking about me and everyone came to sympathize with me. the whole time i couldnt wait to get home so i can get rid of the clothes and take a shower to clean myself off. overall, what a crazy day, hahah.
