Tonight was Meredith's "I kicked cancer's ass party." She is amazing, and even the doctors agreed she was a cancer poster child. Tonight we celebrated at the Buckaroo. Lots of people showed up, and we had a great time. Even her parents came, and they are wonderful. No more cancer, after 9 months. I am so happy and Mer is one of the best people that I know. I also got to see a lot of people that I don't see too often, and I got to meet a lot of new people who are really cool.
Today I went to the sustainability fair at UAA. There was a lot of really good information, and resources on sustainability. I am not the most sustainable person, but I really feel like I am and will continue to get better. Plus they had really really good vegan food and I stuffed my face. Including spirulina dressing from organic oasis, which Matthew can vouch for as being the best dressing in the whole world. After that I cleaned Matthews house. Next, Amy, my dad and me went to see the movie 21, which is totally rad. I loved loved loved it. Followed by an awesome supper at Nino's, which is great Italian food.
Last night Mer, India and I went to the bearfoot bluegrass concert. I love them. My dad smoked some salmon, and I changed my major. Again. This time I got it right though, finally. I am extremely excited about it, and I think that my advisor is amazing. Everytime I talk to him I feel better and guided or something. It will be A LOT of work, and I don't know if I am ready, but I really want this degree so I am going to take it one step at a time.
Needless to say it was a good day. A good weekend. ps. Matthew-I watched your movie, and it was boring. just saying. But I still love you.
One of my favorite things!
