Strange dream, need to stop thinking about it so can get back to sleep.

I was awoken from a nightmare by my mom looking for a thermometer to take my dad's temperature; I thought that was a good thing, but no I can't stop thinking about it, so I'm writing to get it out of my head in the hopes that I'll then be able to get back to sleep.

It started out fairly...strange, but not bad, with me Jeff and a third person who was supposed to be a friend of ours, but who I've never seen before, stranded at a large airport. I say "stranded," but it seemed like it was something that had been planned for a while and, at first, we were all excited about it like kids at a camp out or a sleep over. I think there was another group somewhere at the other end of the airport because I remember hearing about them later, but I never saw them. That set's the first seen in which nothing really happened other than us all crawling into our sleeping bags and then it being the next morning.

The next morning, I was the first to wake, and I looked out the big glass doors they always have lining the front of the airport and saw a whole bunch of big tornados passing by within a few seconds; first just one, then a group of two, then a group of four, then a massive group that contained too many for me to count. I woke up the others and we headed further into the airport to find a safer place. As we ran I could feel other tornados hitting the opposite corner of the building--moving in the opposite direction from the ones I saw. I've heard about smaller, secondary tornados circling each other as part of a larger, primary tornado and it seemed like that's what these were doing--but then the primary tornado would have been bigger around than the airport! Anyway, as we ran, the dream got a sound track in the form of "Spirit in the Sky," most likely for no other reason than that it's on a commercial that plays frequently out here and I hear it a lot. I woke up while we were running.

I think I can get back to sleep now.
